Based on the self-developed magnetic ranging system (MWPTM), Cavaville cooperated with partners in integrating and upgrading the system and technology. Three series system of Rotating Magnetic Guidance (RMG), DC Crossing Guidance (DCG) and AC Crossing Guidance (ACG) have been developed, covering SAGD parallel horizontal wells, CBM/salt nitrate intersection wells, horizontal directional drilling, air shaft and roadway construction.

Application Cases of RMG System
In June 2014, intersection operation for Well mingzhu*** and Well CLH*** in Shandong Province, China.
In July 2014, intersection operation for Well pmy** and Well pmy*** in Henan Province, China.
In November 2014, intersection operation for Well J* and Well J** in Shandong Province, China.
From August to October 2016, intersection operation for Well SJ41**, SJ41***, SJ50**, SJ**, SJ42** and SJ42*** in Shanxi Province, China.
In December 2017, intersection operation for Well BP** and BD** in Shanxi Province, China.
Application Cases of ACG System
In May 2017, the ACG System was applied to the cable penetration project (through 2 highway + 1 river) in Hebei Province, China, without breakdown. The horizontal error is less than 10cm. The project covers 603m and reaches the deepest depth of 17.5m.
In October 2017, the ACG System was applied to the LNG transmission pipeline directional crossing project, covering 1050m. During the project, the ACG System was stable and reliable, with high accuracy, and complied with the operation requirement.
